At Momentum Housing, we are committed to creating and preserving affordable housing opportunities. This focus has naturally aligned into two key areas of focus, Low-Income Housing and Workforce Housing. While each serves a distinct purpose, they often intersect, reflecting our holistic approach to addressing housing affordability and providing communities with stability and opportunity, and create lasting Momentum.
We are proud to play a role in addressing the critical needs of low-income families. We are experienced developers, owners and operators of Low-Income Housing Tax Credit projects, with our leadership team having sponsored, redeveloped or managed projects in 39 states.
In addition, workforce housing is a key part of what we do at Momentum Housing. Through innovative strategies, we have sponsored, redeveloped and preserved approximately 4,500 housing units through the preservation of Naturally Occurring Affordable Housing and the conversion of market rate housing to affordable mixed-income communities.
